- Day-to-day subsurface engineering support to Sangomar production operations grounded on established multi-disciplinary reservoir management strategy.
- Reservoir, completion, well, production and injection network performance surveillance, analysis, and optimization.; leveraging common industry software including, GAP, Prosper, IFM, P2, and TNav.
- Provide technical guidance on Production allocations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Provide subsurface inputs and oversite to support field production forecasts, business plans, and budget.
- Ensure evaluation and optimization of production and water injection performance in support of optimal performance of the reservoir and facility.
- Ensure support to field Operations related to well and fluid flow to mitigate health, safety and environmental risks and impacts.
- Ensure maintenance and execution of the reservoir management plan to optimize field recovery.
- Coordinate well integrity management and risk management processes associated with the field's subsea wells.
- Coordinate subsurface technical collaboration engagements between Woodside Energy and JV Partner, PETROSEN.
- Evaluation of relevant technologies to improve continue to improve well and reservoir performance.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical).
- Minimum of 12+ years relevant industry experience, with a focus on field operations and
- Experience in deepwater, subsea developments, with a good grasp of the interplay between operations, surface, flow assurance and subsurface principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Effective leadership skills with a proven track record for coordination of team delivery; continued strengthening of leadership skills possible within the role to compete for formal subsurface management role in coming years.
- Fluency in English.
