- Plan and execute nationwide fieldwork (e.g., Dakar, Thiès, Saint-Louis, Kaolack, Tambacounda, Kédougou, Ziguinchor/Sédhiou/Kolda), aligning with local regulations, community protocols, and seasonal constraints (hivernage).
- Recruit, supervise, and coach enumerator teams, ensuring informed consent, child safeguarding, Do No Harm, and high-quality data collection in urban, peri-urban, and rural settings.
- Coordinate participant mobilization with mairies, préfectures/sous-préfectures, chefs de village, community/religious leaders, NGOs/CBOs, and relevant technical services.
- Implement real-time quality assurance (spot checks, back-checks, audits) and troubleshoot logistics/security issues, including in remote or border areas.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality in line with Senegal's Data Protection Law (Loi n°2008-12) and CDP guidance; manage secure devices, access controls, and compliant data flows.
- Report field progress, risks, and lessons learned to STOOS coordination and contribute context insights to analysis and reporting.
- Fluent French and English (spoken and written) - MUSTS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years managing research/survey/M&E fieldwork in Senegal or comparable West African contexts
- Proven experience supervising multi-site enumerator teams and engaging communities ethically
- Proficiency with digital data collection tools (KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO) and QA workflows
- Strong logistics/security awareness; ability to deliver under tight timelines and challenging travel conditions
- Wolof and/or other national languages (Pulaar, Serer, Jola, Mandinka, Soninké) are assets
